Our Solutions

Achilles tendinopathy is a common sports-related overuse injury most often associated with poor training habits, biomechanics and environmental conditions. With Senstension sensors it is possible to directly measure tension changes in the achilles tendon during various levels of loading. Additional Senstension sensor can be used to investigate the synergistic activity of both gastrocnemius muscle heads and the power transmissio through the tendon. This uniquely combined information, possible to obtain under completely natural circumstances for athletes, can prove essential in the treatment and prevention of tendinopathy. By comparing data obtained from the healthy and affected sides, a baseline comparison can be made which can serve a measure of success for various treatment modalities. Senstension is the only modality that can directly measure tension changes in a non-invasive way in the achilles tendon. Back to applications>>>
